Due to rather colorful comments the Clippers owner has made to his side piece/girlfriend he is now in a bit of a controversy and NBA will hold a press conference this afternoon.

Who cares. He's been running the team just fine being a racist, why is it a big deal now?

Lol that he has.The press conference and game later should be interesting.

He may get suspended but cannot really be removed as an owner. But the back lash and loss of revenue may sway him/nba to act. Funny he was about to receive an award from the ncaap.

Who hasnt said something in the privacy of their home with only those you trust around? Lets remember he was secretly recorded in his home. If he made those statements on his own accord in public, yes he deserves to be punished. But he wasnt. It was to his girl who was recording and leading him on so she could run out her own agenda

Lets not forget either that in public he has been doing well. Ironically he was supposed to receive an award by the NCAAP

While I don't agree with what he said, the Clippers are his property; therefore, no one should be able to force him to sell. Granted, that is a big "should." Interesting thing is that I'm not sure it was completely legal for the woman to secretly tape him. Obviously that does not make it ok what he said, but we also WERE a free country that allowed freedom of speech. Quite frankly, he should be allowed to say whatever he wants, right or wrong. Finally, knowing that we are supposed to have freedom of speech, I'm not sure the NBA should levy any suspensions of fines. These were comments made in the privacy of his own home, not at a public gathering, press conference, or otherwise. Shame on TMZ for releasing a private conversation, but alas, that is the world we live in.

I will finish by saying that I do not condone what he said, I just hold a firm belief in our Constitution.

Good points and now Chauncey Billups is sounding off saying he would not play tonight if he were still on the team...well he played with the Clippers for almost four years and Sterling has a history sooo...

Personally I don't care. I can see why the controversy but it is what it is. I do think he should sue the girl since it was done without his knowledge or authorization.

Btw, am I the only one that see's something wrong with his wife suing his girlfriend (key word gf)?? Lol

What's she suing the gal for?
