Should Donald Sterling be stripped of team ownership in the NBA?

How is that not what tge thread is about. The title is should Donald sterling be stripped of his team ? I say no u say yes. I say double standard.

Lp its not just sports but I will leave that alone and stick to the thread. Look at the end of the day I cab give two ****s about billionaires (owners) or millionaires ( players ) but imo whats good for the goose should be good for the gander .....oh lord cant imagine what it will be like when my kids are grown....probanly get in trouble for thoughts by then.....nite fellas im out

TO JAWS.........that's a fair sentiment, I don't disagree, but events have pushed on and Sterling is now gone.. and the reality has set in he isn't the owner in anything but the technicality of time at this point...I am not a fan of OJ...OR RAY CARUTH(sp) or STALLWORTH OR BARRY BONDS,for that matter, I just OBSERVE, I am not a fan(gave that up years ago) just a guy amused by the whole thing with way too much working knowledge of the inside of the sports world (through aquaintence's with "many"athletes),especially in golf...it's just what was .. I stopped being emotionally involved in the outcomes long ago:)
 
Golf...lol. I banged Tom Watson's daughter in Mexico like 15 years ago. It was in San Miguel De Allende...Tom had a house on the same street as my family. I was 18, she was a few years older. More than a few years, but still, she looked good back then.
 
never met MR . WATSON...I am "friends" with people in the MARK CALCAVECHIA, MICHAEL ALLEN, RICH BEAM , TOM PURTZER , BILLY MAYFAIR era..well I guess PURTZ Qualifies for the WATSON ERA...I know A "few" current players, CHEZ REAVIE(won CANADIAN OPEN) is a former roommate , at ASU, with a close friend I caddied for...at the U.S. AM..CHEZ won the U.S. PUBLINX in SAN ANTONIO that BEN(MY FRIEND)and I were at...JIM OTTEN(CHICAGO WHITE SOX& ST LOUIS CARDINAL pitcher)was a regular player in the monday afternoon game at our golf course(that I ORGANIZED FOR THE LOCAL COLLEGE TYPE PLAYERS & OTHER GOOD AMATEURS)...got to meet GREG MADDOX, JAKE PLUMMER , JERRY RICE, WILLIE MAYS, got to hang out with BOBBY BONDS, and a couple other "celeb "types
 
His daughter is as deep as I've delved into anything golf related, lol. My buddy used to have a house in Lake Sherwood on the 8th hole, so played a bit back then. When Gretzky used to live there he would almost always be pounding beers in the clubhouse trying to mac on our girls, ha ha. Crazy drunk...
But back to golf, that's cool you got to caddie for some pretty big names in the golf world. Those guys get pretty competitive? Must be interesting having such an inside look. Better than floorside , haha
 
In truth, this was a cowardly way of taking out, and making an example of, a very old man who was guiltier of much weightier 'sins' than this many many years ago.
and I have to admit pitying the mere fact that nobody acted until his mental capacities are in decline. people familiar with him indicated he's fighting memory problems for a couple years.
I also think that knowledge is the reason for some older NBAers, acquainted with him longer, reacting less like bloodthirsty vipers when interviewed about him this week.

I personally can't muster up any sympathy for this guy..he has made a living out of being a crooked user &abuser of many unfortunate people(and well off people ,too).. but as far as being "cowardly in the way he was ousted...I shall leave that up to "individual judgement"..just can't ..muster..up ..sorrow ..for a guy who is going to make a 5000%(yep..check the #'s) PROFIT on a team he mismanaged into a laughingstock for 30+ yrs...(all because the league got popular )
