Wait a minute,what did R Kelly say?

Its not what he said but what he did with the minor on Tape lol. Sterling should sue the gf and sue the NBA.

If this happened to someone of my ethnic background, I'd still stand the same.

Not to put Kobe out on blast but I don't remember anything close to this when he called the ref a Homo. I don't remember hearing a single word about "Bann".

He def should sue her. Messed up what she did. Id be in jail for strangling her right now if i were in his shoes. Then theyd really have a reason to take my team.

Oh yeah, that whole debacle.Kelly got away because there was no one to hold his feet to any flames though...the recording industry couldn't care any less about what he did to those girls and he pretty much got a slap on the wrist from the justice system.

Lol. Didnt the Yankees owner get banned for life but somehow it was temp? I don't follow baseball to much but I remember something about that scandal.

Do you ignore the lawsuits just because he got screwed by his mistress? Its not like he didnt have a track record. Go demand answers from the people who knew. The general public and the posters on here didnt know. The sponsors who withdrew and the charities rejecting his checks right now didnt know. The brand new commissioner whos been on the job 3 months didnt know nor should he be held responsible for the previous commish turning a blind eye.

Call people hypocrites, demand answers, yell poor sterling all you want but dont try to pretend a good man with a good track record was spied on and sent to jail, he lost a privilege. I dont think a single person has said the fact it was a private convo was acceptable. It really does suck for him imo...but its out. Go sue her and call her out. No amount of damage control could change that the recordings are out. We all now know.

This is exactly why I say PI's on all the NBA & expose them too for what they are! It would be so entertaining to see them all squirming & in similar situations to his... The only difference is many would be facing jail time & divorces with big $ consequences too! Seeing what they would say about THEIR private lives exposed! The only factor here is the piece of junk American media wouldn't handle it the same way!

I touched on that whole situation a few posts back.

Sorry, but that is not true. If you googled Donald Sterling BEFORE this scandal...say 6 months ago...the 1st result found would be Clipper's owner and the 2nd result would be, Donald Sterling Racist. However, although he had lawsuits accusing him of alleged housing discrimination, he settled those cases without admitting fault for millions of dollars. He also had a very public discrimination suit with Elgin Baylor, who served as the Clippers general manager from 1986 to 2008 in which according to Baylor, Sterling had a "Southern plantation" view, preferring to field a team of "poor black boys from the South ... playing for a white coach." This case was eventually won by Sterling as Baylor's accusations could not be corroborated. Regardless of the outcome of these lawsuits, it shows a clear pattern of questionable racial discriminatory behavior. And better yet, it is all on the record. People knew. The NBA knew. The other owners knew. The Sponsors knew. The players knew. Everyone knew and was waiting for Donald Sterling to just slowly go away as he got older and fade out of memory. And as far as people posting here who say they did not know (that Sterling was a KNOWN RACIST) -Get Your Heads Out Of The Sand -Do a little research why don't you. . Any oversight of important facts (IE. Donald Sterling is a known racist) is purely the fault of said person not knowing what the heck is going on and that error in ignorance is their problem NOT mine. And if a simple google search to bring you up to speed is too much task to handle, then you have no business spouting inaccuracies.

Now, as far as Commissioner Adam Silver being only three months in as NBA commissioner and not having a clue about Donald Sterling - COMPLETE HOGWASH! Adam Silver began working for the NBA in 1992. Before assuming his current role, Silver held the positions of special assistant to the commissioner, NBA chief of staff, senior vice president of NBA Entertainment, and president of NBA Entertainment. He was essentially groomed by former Commissioner Stern for this position. And please don't tell me that David Stern (the commissioner of the NBA for 30 yrs) was so ignorant that he didn't know what was going on in the NBA and about the longest NBA team owners public lawsuits of discrimination. Of course he did, and everyone else in the NBA did as well. Yet, NO ONE DID ANYTHING? When Stern stepped down earlier this year, he was succeeded by then-Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer Adam Silver. I find it very hard to believe that after 22 years in the NBA, Adam Silver has NO IDEA about Donald Sterling. REALLY????? I seriously doubt it.

So youre saying i knew? Youre saying every poster knew? Youre saying sponsors googled him? Just because something went to court it doesnt mean youre aware of it. What youre saying is completely inaccurate as far as everyone knew or was in position to do anything about it. I dont google every person in the world. Why would sterling be someone id look up? Give me one reason why i wouldve researched him? Ill wait

Just be reading your position alone you sound pro racism

Sounds like what is saying is that Silver and company, being in their positions should have already been well aware of Stern's leanings.
