I dont know about fishing in a tank but If i had a pond I'd be very tempted, it would be pretty awesome, my fisherman side says it would be awesome, my fishkeeper side says it'd be cruel and possibly hurt my fish, but I guess as long as its catch and release... lol

BTW I find it hard to believe you snapped 65lb test spider wire unless it was the cheap stuff and dry rotted, stealth and original at 65lb test could pretty much allow you to horse in a shark.

ya know thi line didnt exactely snap it bit clean thru it i wouldent think it would becase you cant even cut the stuff with nail clippers it even takes a bit with a utility knife the red gave one tug and it was free hook line and left me the sinker

the best part of the whole thing is i found out they realy like the sparkling rainbow trout bait i think even mor then the trout do

What size tank are we talking here ?

125 but it had masive power heads the fish looked like they where swiming on a treadmill all the time exept in one dead spot above the power heads it was a little overstocked but in the small town i lived in it was the bigest tank i could find without paying ridiculous shiping and handling costs and i still over payed it costed me 500 bucks but it came with sevral pretty fish that live with god now lol i told them i didnt want the fish they insisted that the fish had to go with the big tank it had a syndotonis cat a giant leperanus and 3 coy five plecos and sevral small gold fish the only thing left after a week was the plecos and the cat i came home one day and couldnt find the cat it was a sad day i realy liked the little guy he was always in hiding im told thats just how they are but i think he saw things that made him a little more paranoyed than usual i got rid of the ps and plecs shut down my tank and my gf got me a motoro ray
