Hi everybody. For the longest time I believed my hoffa cichlid was male. I watched it grow from a wiggler thinking I had an awsome male. But when I introduced a male dovii everything changed. My "male" hoffa has now paired off with the dovii. Should I let them go or would all the mixing around produce wierd looking fish?

I agree with mac. just make sure you let people know what they are BEFORE you get rid of them. And since not everyone likes hybrids, be ready to have a flock of them just in case (yes i know flock isnt the right word)

Alright then it's settled. Thanks for all the replies. Should be interesting. I'll post pics asap

I would get much more satisfaction from propagating a pure species then creating a hybrid. I have no interest in hybridization.
