It is indeed a jag/dovii. I also agree with you aquanero. Unfortunately I have no other options except maybe a divider.

Could use (most of) the spawn as feeders?
I used to not really care about whether or not people hybridized fish as long as the breeders were clear about what they are hybrids of. I'm starting to change my mind, though, since I've seen articles about the rates of natural hybridization in cichlids increasing because of murky, polluted water. Hobbyists might become conservationists sooner than they realize!
