Hey, I've been using a pine coffee table to hold my 40 gallon for a year now. I checked the screws were all still tight but when I shake the coffee table it wobbles a little should I be concerned?

Hard to say without seeing it.. would shims help or are the screws/bolts that hold the legs loose?
This is an old photo It always wobbled a bit when I shook the table left and right but its been fine for at least two few years now. The water would never shake out when I do it. Also before I used it to hold a fish tank I used to stand on this table along with my brother and I weighed like 260 pounds. My uncle who's a carpenter said I shouldn't worry since he said the cabinets would help dispersed some of the weight. I'm pretty sure the table is level though.IMG_4109.jpg

If it's real wood and not particle board you're probably fine with a 40. If you want to stabilize the table more a backer panel across the back would help a lot, or even some diagonal bracing.
