Why don't you rather experiment with changing your tank setups so the need less maintenance, it will make the environment more stable and you wouldn't need to do water changes that often.

I like doing water changes, it is just kind of hard for me to get started. Once I get the python water changer out and hooked up to the faucet, it is easy.
