This si a nice aquarium i saw on Craigs list for 250$ with everything including filter, lights, canopy, heater tank stand gravel all things inside and 4 fish. should i get it?

i wouldnt buy it. too much money. thats a rather plain homemade stand. wait, and a better deal will come around. and just my opinion, if you have room for a 4ft tank, buy a 75 or 90. youll be happier in the long run!

I got my 125 gallon with EVERYTHING for $140... Rena xp3, heater, stand, powerhead, hood, lights, and a ton of extras.
Witht that one you are getting some nice lighting for a plalnted tank and the ferts. I would hold off on the 55. If you keep watching, for that price you will probably find something bigger. I'd make them pay you to take the toy castle off their hands lol.
And there's a whole thread on crazy craigslist dealings... just because someone is asking a price, doesn't mean it's worth that much.
I've seen new tanks going for really cheap in some places now... I saw a 55 gallon at petsmart recently that was like $100. Find a creative solution for the stand, and buy a HOB aquaclear 110 on ebay for like $40... heaters are cheap... Buy a coralife t5 light fixture for like $40... just a few ideas.

yeah man that is WAY overpriced..55 gallon setups like that are a dime a dozen around here and well under 150 bucks..keep looking bud
I have to say I agree with everyone else on here, unfortunately my local craigslist ads seem to think a used 55 is worth $500 , sadly not a joke, but occasionally there are deals that make looking worth while. This is not one of those deals. Keep searching and you will be glad you did, just my two cents.
