exactly. the other day, I posted an ad in the 'wanted' section of craig's list. I said I was looking for an aquarium, 75-125 gallons. will pay $1.00 per gallon. I got 4 responses within a few hours.
post an ad looking for a 75, 90, or 110. keep posting every week, if necessary. you'll find a better deal on a better tank.
or, make this guy an offer. see if he'll take $100. thats another thing I did. A lady was asking $250 for a 72 gallon bowfront. I sent an email and told her I was interested, and gave her my number. When she called, I offered her $100. She laughed. A week later, she called me back; ready to haggle. She just left another voice mail a week ago.
people ask way too much on craigslist. aquarium equipment has little resale value. its a buyer's market.
