I have been trying to find a pair of fish to breed for awhile and I couldn't find any big fish for my 55gal so this is what I found on aquabid. I tried to breed and no luck female wasn't ready and she got beat up a lot. These Betta's are wild and fry will have value.

I offered $35 including shipping to him and he accepted it so looks like I got me a pair of Betta.
yeah, I'm passing yet again. I e-mailed him to see if he could point me in the right direction,hopefully he gets back to me before the auction ends
Im know almost nothing about bettas, so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what are you goin to use for a substrate?
Also are you planning on growing those live plants in that tank, or just holding them there for another?
