Should i get a congicus?

Hi guys ive seen two congicus for sale at around 10 to12" for £50 each but im a bit worried that they will get too big,i know tthe sticky says 39" but whats a realistic size in a home aquarium?

I believe the largest congicus on this site is around 26", although not 39" still an absolute monster!!!!

Great fish to get if you have the tank to house it. Good luck.

get a congicus,the biggest iv seen in tank is like 30" but thats only b.c the guy keeps it in a 10,000 gallon,but other then that the biggest 1 is CDM's 7 year old congicus kept in a 6x2x2 thats 24"-25"

steve you'll be fine. had mine for over 5 years and it's still only around 18". grew from
3" to 12" in the first year then prob just over an inch a year since then.
