should i get a datnoid?

hey guys i have an opportunity to buy either some indo or silver datnoids i have always wanted them and now i can my question is if everything will be okay in my tank and which species would be better in my situation i like the indos better personally but anyways they are about 2 inches long or so and i have a flag tail that is about 5 inches a sun catfish 5 inches another dun catfish about 3 inches two pangasisus catfish in my qt tank that will hopefully soon be moved to the big tank ones about 7 inches and the other is like 4 and finally a 7 or 8 inch arowana i heard that datnoids can be aggresive i do not want anything that will be aggresive towards my arowana especially not the other ones either but do you guys think this will work? im also not sure if the aro would try and eat them i had peacock bass in the tank that were only like 3 inches but maybe i should put them in the 40 qt tank? let me know what you guys think or if i should not even get them also any advice for keeping dats is greatly appreciated thanks guys! if you have any questions feel free to ask
 
Few months back I just purchased 3 Indo Dat. They just abt an inch long. I keep them with GG, Flagtail, Senegal Birchir etc which are many times their size. To my surprise..they survive!!! And are growing fast! So far they are peaceful towards other species as long as they can't fit into their mouths. My only worry is that your arrowana may eat them up.

thats awesome glad to hear they survived what are you feeding them?
 
Hikari Massivore Delite, frozen brine shrimp & blood worm. Yes they can aggressive towards own kind. Too bad.. heard from my LFS that Thailand stopped exporting out their wide bar ST. Now in Singapore only IT available.

hmm so should i just get one then? and yeah i want to get him onto pellets the massivores sink right?
 
silver tigers are brackish water so indos
