Also, as far as aggression towards their own species goes, my recommendation is that you *not* get two. If you have 3+ it will usually sort of disperse the aggression and make it so that there isn't just 1 fish bullying another.

i dont add that much to where it will harm the catfish they dont have any problems with it and would one be okay? or better off getting 3 or 4 my main concern is them attacking the arowana

Get at least 3 but have a spare tank ready just in case it doesn't work out. Once the dat grow out they'll have more personality.

Get a couple indos for the heck of it... cuz it's fun to bring in new additions. Get em a little bigger if possible due to the catfish mouths.

the guy i would be getting them from is taking pre orders so i have to let him know what i want and they are going to be that small i can put them in the 40 tho how fast do they grow?
