Ok so i went to the lfs today and they had a baby
Fahaka puffer for 39.99 and I was wondering if this wasn
Reasonable price his fins did look alittle tattered but nothing
That won't heal up within a few weeks also how long could they live in a 75g ?
And yes I know they need a varied diet and stuff like snails
And mussels
To grind their teeth down also he is only about 5-7 inches thx

Depends on the dimensions of the 75G, but as long as the Puffer isn't stunted in anyway, then you can expect to see them grow to no less than about 12" within the first year... then after that they slow down a fair bit... i've had mine for about 1.5 years roughly and shes now at about 14"...

So hopefully that will give you sort of an idea what to expect...

Ok thanks it's a wide 75 so he will last in there until
I can clear out a bigger tank but was that a good price?
 
Eventually he'll need a 120+g tank (within a year).
