i would go for it try to lower the price abit but i reackon its worth a go your female is amazing
the male should cost no more then $50
Also i am pretty sure flowerhorns cost more than Red texas depends on the flowerhorn quality.

Lol, well I ended up taking it, got it for $70, not as much less as I hoped, but good a discount is a discount. The guy told me it is flowerhorn x texas, I thought it was red texas as well, and I asked him, but he still thinks its flowerhorn texas, I can't be sure its fertile till I try it out.. I just have my fingers crossed. I really really hope he is, If he isn't, I've talked to someone who will swap me for a Leichardti Saratoga.. which I really want. So If hes infertile i'll trade him in, at the same time, If i get a batch from him its a plus for me. but i'll most likely still swap him even if i get some fry.
But I can honestly say its a beautiful fish, and if i didn't want a saratoga so bad, i'd keep him. i'll post pics soon.
