Should I keep these ranchu?

I've been wanting a panda oranda for the longest but from what I've read online a lot of them fade/wash out and don't stay panda forever. Actually these two small ranchus are from my dad lol, he's good at picking out tetras and geophagus for my SA tank but he's definitely no goldfish guy. At least he picked out two with OK body shapes. I'll prolly reason out why I couldn't keep the TVR one
 
Yeah, they don't stay panda for a long time.:(
 
Do any of them ever stay panda? I saw a post on another goldfish forum saying the genetics are still weak because panda oranda is a fairly new type compared to the others and they're still working out the kinks.

Back on topic, I traded in the TVR today got $15 store cred for it that I'm prolly gonna use towards this big red black calico. You should see this guy the red is intenseee. I'm just kinda iffy cuz when I saw it its swimming pattern didn't look as smooth as I'd like it. Gotta stare at it for another 30mins-1hr before I can decide lol.
