why not? I would......Flowerhorns breed and only 1% of the babies are usually considered 'worth keeping'......I mean, they will be the only fish of the bunch that are not going to be considered a common, low grade fish. You can sell them for 5 bucks a fish, or keep a few to grow out, but only the best ones with potential.

If you do not intend to sell them or trade them into a fish store for credit, I don't see a problem with it. What size are they......

On that note, did you have any worth keeping? Any with potential, you have pics of the parents?

i'l get some pic's of the parents for ya and yes there is a few that have the black markings all down there sides which i might raise the biggest on in the picture is just a few months old and the all seem to be growing humps. The biggest one just doesn't have much for markings but is show in nice reds and greens

I dont think the fins will choke them, i've seen pbass eat some horrible fish.

The only flowerhorns i would keep from the batch, are the select few that look decent, and just sell them, or grow them out.

They do look low quality they look pale no colouring. I think he breeds them and feeds the low quality ones since i read from a ***** of flowerhorns only a few to none will be good quality. I dont see why not using the spares as feeder fish they are healthier than those damn dirty goldfish .
