maybe some people could offer to cover Shipping and keep the fish in good care.

why the hell would you kill them?! its better to donate... its life dude.. im very disapointed at the mentality a fellow hobbyist is displaying.

There's no way this is real. At any half decent price, datnoids are gone in a heartbeat, there are always people looking for every fish just listed. This has to be a fake post. And plus, who cares if someone else profits? If they find a buyer and make money, it's only because you failed to find the very same buyer. These are awesome fish, if this is real, get over yourself and let someone else make the money that you are refusing to make.

I don't want to sound insensitive to the issues you are facing, I myself was laid off in December and am still looking for a decent job. It's a terrible time to be in. But i use my fish as comfort, the little world i have my fish in is the ONE thing in life I can keep control over, even when the rest of it is spiraling out of control, I still have the fish world that is mine.

I also have to agree. After I read what stock your trying to get rid of it's hard to believe u can't find someone to take them...My back then similar situation with my friend and i was dealing with oversized monsters that no one wants or can't house...anyone would dream to have a stock like yours...

If you have gone thru of what I've been thru, then you wouldn't make this comment

About a year ago, I sold off my first TRUE ST datnoid for cheap to a member here. He promised to take care of the fish for life. The fish ended up getting blinded by his Super Red Arowana and he decided to sell it off for $400..

I felt very bad about it.

Now the fish is cripple and it is going to toss around in the hobby. The fish is suffering and I hate to see it that way...

I don't want history to repeat itself again, as I know people will just keep them (datnoids) with arowana and arowana always go for their eye if they fight...

Currently the market in Canada / Toronto doesn't support these large fish well. Some guy is trying to sell his 24"+ lince cat for $650 (it's so FREAKING cheap) and nobody buy it.

All I know is, if I sell it cheap or donate it, people will just take it for granted and waste the fish!

Is killing it really that much better? I mean, we're not talking about a goldfish that we could go to ANY pet store and get for a dime (and i don't mean coke). We're talking about much rarer stuff that you would have to trade a dime for (and i do mean coke)!

my super red arowana is gill curled (got it from a petshop that way) and currently housed in a friend's tank

As for my ST / CT (my avatar), it's REALLY REALLY controversial, some say it's a ST, some say it's a CT, and some even say it's an IT...

Up till this day, I still don't know what it is, nobody got an definite answer >.<' When people are uncertain, they won't buy it!
