I'm definately keeping the 6x2x2 and Rio, still not sure on the 4x2x2, and 48x30x24. Thanks everybody for the nice comments.

your posts are great....you know alot :) :)

i think you are doing the right thing

i would hate to see you leave....you may find a job related to fish...many adults know a lot less and cant express themselves nearly as well as you can....

please chill for awhile....the fish will get better as we all have down turns in our fishing keeping....look and enjoy the the good stuff....fix the bad stuff but try not to dwell on it....

any way my 2 cents :) :) hope you hang in there with the fish...........john

Thanks mate, some nice words which mean a lot to me, Yesterday we spent an hour of so, doing water changes giving the tanks a clean and smartening them up and there been an improvement, the next step is to take back a few odds and sods that i've got in the tanks.

if anything break one tank down to lower your stress and maintenance, i know its hard taking care of alot of tanks! but dont get rid of that tank, i always like to keep a spare incase of an unexpected leak or break. in fact i only have one tank set up now(100g) but 2 other tanks in storage(100 and 150g). ive thought about packing it in as well, i fought disease in my tank for 3 months, but i knew i would miss it and now that everything is good again im glad i stuck with it.keep on MFKing!:headbang2

I'm glad you decided to keep your tanks... I'm also glad to see how everyone joined together and pretty much gave you the same advice..... Great MFK community going on here... I've down sized before, about 6 years ago, when feeling overwhelmed with keeping up on multiple tanks and managing spare time, turned out that was all I needed. Just a little break. Now I have more tanks and fish then in the past, the time and money spent is selfrewarding and it don't seem like a chore at all.;) By the way I wish I would have had tanks like yours when I was 15. haha:D

i would mayby only sell the 120 and use money from it to improve the rio 300 (300gal right?) and just focus your main time on it and just do simple setups in the other tanks that dont require much care (like no live plants or demanding fish)

im the same age as you so i gotta give some props to you for taking care of that many tanks i only got a 125,30,10 and empty 6 and 2 and i find it to be plenty of work for me
