F it's onle 2-3 inches get him and grow out

if it's growing to fast for you

give him awY or give him a small pond, you have maybe 6 months before you will have problems with keeping it

take... if you want it and can afford another tank...

How fast do rtc's grow?

Im thinking a 360g should hold a rtc for awhile?
(8x4x3?)

I'm confused cuz you say 360g, but the dimensions you give are for a 700g tank. I probably missed something.

Either way, you should be good for awhile. If you don't power feed it, you might be good for longer. Just remember to do whats right for the animal when it gets bigger.

Also, around here, no lfs will take them when they get bigger because everyone tries to get rid of them. However, that same lfs has about 4 12"+ ones that they're trying to sell for $350. And that would be why I hate a lot of the lfs stores in my area.

Well the gallon calculator I used says that 8x4x3 is 360 gallons so I dont know where your getting the 700 gallons from, so Im confused as well......

An I passed on it kuz I rather just buy one when I already have the tnak up an running.

Edit: turns out I used another gallon calculator an it says it 718 gallon so im sure thats where the confusion came from with the tank size, although it still does not matter

360 gallons would be 8x3x2. And if you can for sure house it get it. But you'll have an incredibly hard time rehoming it if you arent able to complete your plans.

The 8'x3' footprint would be good for RTC for quite some time at least two years. The growth slows down considerably after 2'

Do note that RTC grows bigger than 3' hmmm i would imagine it is very troublesome to move a 3' catfish

good luck
