You have a 600 gallon tank or a tropical pond?

I got a 259 gallon pond but I highly doubt it's actually 20" the tank in the pic looks no bigger then a 45. I am buildings a bed stand pond like necro's so I have more then enough room. The problem with the bed stand pond is once done it might only be good enough for one full size cat.

Just to be clear they are two different ponds.

Tank looks 37 gallon to me

The reason he is saying 600 gallons is becaue you are going to need a 600-1000 gallon pond for that fish to really live and thats on the small side. just to give you an idea. Its still very small at this point

I know this isn't my first time at the rodeo lol. I had a rtc in the 259 pond for a while grew it from 8" or so then sold both. I just got the pond back as a trade for my blind tsn. If you ever seen this build is what I plan on copying. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=515103

The general wisdom "tank first, fish second" is true but has a lot of play room. If your future is so uncertain as to where you will live in a year, you better have plan B, C, and D, that is people lined up who will take your RTC (for free) off your hands when the time comes.

If you don't have that, I'd pass... or pass it on to someone local who is in compliance with the rule above.

I have the space to keep it now and if I do move I'm taking it with me no matter on how. If people can ship two white tip sharks from Australia to Dubai I'm sure it could make it.
