I typically feed all my fish once a day except Wednesday and Sundays (water change days on all tanks, 50% minimum). My fish love clean water. @KRich- of course massivore or nls. No cheapo pellets.

from 6" to 18" in 5.5 months
27" in 18 months

He fed twice a day and by the looks of his fish, he fed heavy.

Thanks for link, Alex. So it looks like 27" in 18 months with heavy feeding. So realistically with feeding 5 days a week I could expect to be around the 20-24" mark. Not completely unmanageable with a 36" depth.

Dude< redtails are voracious, light feeding means the rest of your stock may starve. They gorge themselves and take anything they can get,. Just saying.
