It’s an Indian mud moray. They are sold here in the states as freshwater eels but require brackish conditions as they grow. They do much better if their salinity needs are met and usually die a slow death if kept in full freshwater. I had one in a full marine setup and it did very well. I’d say 400 is good enough for these eels. They tend to hide in crevasses most of the time anyways. Eels aren’t open water swimmers.

Just came to know its a mud moray and got it for pretty cheap 250 for both lol

Should i add salt??? And hiding places which kind of hiding pipe type or rocks??

If they were caught in freshwater, keep them in freshwater for now. When you add salt, do it gradually to slowly bring up the salinity. You’ll have to maintain it at the level you set. Test the salinity of the place they were caught, and replicate that.
Pipes are great but rocks are natural. They’ll definitely appreciate hiding places.

Just to add a bit on salinity:
These eels are born in freshwater then swim to estuaries (where the river meets the sea) and can get all the way into the ocean. They migrate back to freshwater to spawn.
Brackish conditions (like the estuaries) are ideal, and as adults, full marine (like the ocean) setups will suit the eels well.
