Yes as stated above, absolutely use marine salt. Since you don’t have corals, it really doesn’t matter what brand you buy. The more expensive bags have increased nutrients for coral growth/health.

2. If he did they would become food most likely and then he would use the table salt.
3. It’s brackish not full saltwate from what I understand unless op wants to switch to saltwater so less expensive.

That man is first of all iliterate he doesn't know the difference between eels and he will sell it to anyone ( and also he doesn't care which kind of aquarium you have he just cares about money he gave me 2 tiger oscar when i was small and i had a 40 gallon only oscars were stressed and i had to release them in my small pond , he is the one whom i bought gars from he was keeping them in A 2 feet tank 10 inch 2 gars in 2 feet tank and he said he had them for 5 months and was feeding the gars all the fishes that died in his other aquarium now tell me ??? Should i just release it cuase i i live in india only???
