A total clean would probably be best. Rotten egg smell is usually something that bad bacteria make.
Should I totally reclean my tank?

....... sorry guys ... I'm just confused on how anyone could let a tank Get to smelling like rotten eggs with all the information thats provided on this sitE... let alone the INTERNET...... i mean if i had a tank that smelled that bad .. i could probably find the problem by just seeing it everyday ....... not flaming .. .... just baffles me .... sorry.........

since u dont know what caused it ....i would say do a 100% water change,remove wash the gravel, clean the tank ,wash the filtration add activated carbon....let the tank cycle ...
