I have a ac 70 and ac 50 on my 55 gallon. I only have a pair of jds in there right now . They will go in my 125 once they out grow this tank . I was think of upgrading the ac 50 to a ac 110 and just have the ac 70 and 110 as filteration and keep my 700 gph water pump

Tbe ac 50 is an older model. Thats why I wanted something up to date. I was debaiting on getting a canister filter but not sure if it will be more expensive in the long run.

If these filters will make their way to the 125 then go for it, if these filters are staying on the 55 and they're doing the job then let them be.

I was thinking about it but then imma have to buy new filters for my 55 . I want to keep it up an running so I can use it as a grow for fry or turn it into a community tank for my son.

upgraded filtration never hurts?

i say if you want to go for it..its only for the better ^_^ having "enough" is fine but more is better!..I love over filtering so maybe its just me.

I have 2 ac 110's on my 50 breeder I know its crazy but that tank is crystal clear. Also I can change one anyway I want and not have to worry about any spikes. Don't need any air stones or powerheads. Love this tank!

AC110 has amazing filtration and water flow, if you will use it for the future tank then I say invest in one! They're very cheap on amazon

Can someone tell me what ac110 stands for or link it? I was trying to google it and I just keep getting every filter under the sun that accepts AC110-120v lol
