No it aint, not here anyway. They mostly come form Germany although there are a few places here in the UK that sell them.

I forgot you are in a different country but it is here. Dont matter, i went in the back yard and dug out a ant queen.

Wait, it's illegal for people to ship queens so how are you getting one?

yeah there are not many laws governing inverts- especially in cooler areas.

I would say go for it. Are you going to have an ant farm style set up or do something bigger?

COOLER? Ha! Its highs of -2 and lows of -14 here right now and its heavy heavy snow too!
Anyway, its an arena its called, only for the nest really and once theyre established etc after a few years you add on more arenas or basisns using the pipes on the sides of the arena. So you feed them in one arena and they need to cut and carry it back to the nest through the tubing. Ill get pics when it gets here XD

hehe, I wennt swimming in an outdoor unheated pool yesterday and today I am wearing shorts and a t shirt with flipflops.

What what country to do live in? Here in the U.S it is illegal for people to ship queen ants online because of Agriculture since they don't want more ant colonies forming for some reason.

I always wanted too! But carpenter ants would make way cooler looking tunnels. I read into them a while back

Lol I can't believe I completely ignored him saying "Here in the UK" And yeah just importing fees probably aren't the best to pay for. I can't even imagine it being close to as bad as fish importation though.
