indeed I do

we actually ban selling them red-tail catfish, and iridescent shark's in my LFS because of there size issue. I feel it's a step in the right direction, however we will sell it to someone with the mean's to keep it when they reach adulthood.

we should ban koi because people think goldfish are getting huge.lol

ok i will vote so im not a total jerk

No! They are great BBQ'd! :D

I don't think they should be banned. They just shouldn't be available for 5 bucks. Take rays for example. They are rare and expensive, so more often than not, the proper research is done before dropping that much coin on a fish. If pacus weren't affordable by any moron that can afford a ten gallon tank, I'm sure there would be far fewer that were mistreated. Same goes for RTCs, TSNs, aros, ID sharks, etc. Common myths are part of the problem, too. Like "a fish will grow to the size of it's tank". Where did that even come from?

Thats true...didn't think of that, but I doubt it is because of their size. It's because they are dangerous.
