Should you euthanize a fish with one eye?

My friend has an oscar who rams into everything swims into walls all the time and just generally looks like he hates his life. What do you think is the best route?

I wouldn't. My leopoldi has one eye due to an accident and she lives a normal life.

As long as he's eating normally and not being bullied. I'd keep him. What size tank is he in? Fish are very resilient, most times it takes more than losing eyesight to prevent them from living normal lives.

Did it just recently lose it's eye? If so it might take some time to adjust to not having the depth perception that it was used to.

+1 I've had a few one eyed and even no eyed fish love happy healthy lives. It might be sick and that's the cause of its sight problem. How did it lose it's eye?

The bulling can't be helping it adjust to having one less eye then it should. Not to mention the Oscar in a 55 with tankmates issue
