Here are some of the recent pics of my Cichla Orinocensis Sp. Venz at 3.5"-4". I have 4 of them and are already getting blue finage. And are turning mean by each inch of growth

amazing cichla everyone!

hey catfishlover how do you know your orinos are venz? no offense but i highly doubt that since venz havnt been imported in about 2-3 years and the last person to have any was rapps. if they are wild most likely from the orinoco river ;)

im not even fully sure...LOL i just like the title...so when they get bigger and get a better knowledge of where its from then i'll title it to the right name ;) but do all orinos get Spottings? mines already have them all over their body...just curious...it looked similar to yours just a smaller version lol

:ROFL::ROFL:no offense bro.... but you shouldnt go about it that way... first you find the source and then study as much as you can about the species.. and before you know it... the puzzle pieces come together:D

don't worry ;) i'll get their somehow sooner or later :naughty: im on it right now but part of my head is still in those Ouijas boards ever since my parents and people around here started mentioning it, ive been really curious. I need to give a welcoming call to Nick and see if he can give me a number to his supplier, and see where he caught the orinos i got from.

for all we know it could be anything unless I get a reply from the supplier. I am more curious to the where abouts on where it was retrieved from though...we can only tell once it grows abit more to know the species from sight and from the possibly range from the river it was taken from.
