Show fish

I heard that there are fish shows like dog shows but without the leashes of course. Where your high quality fish get judged and rated. But i have never seen any evidence of them. Does anyone know if there are such shows?

american cichlid association (ACA) has shows and conventions for top quality cichlids, and are judged just like any other kind of pet show.

Show Quality fish are quite commonly worth more then a S.Q domestic dog or cat. Such instances are multi-thousand dollar Asian Arowanas, Flowerhorns, Discus and Goldfish.

Japanese show quality koi can fetch hundreds of thousands of dollars

some koi kan fetch in the 100,000's according to some pet show on tv but whether or not thats true.
