my oscars destroy everything I had to remove all the rock because they would pick them up and ram the glass or drop them hard on the glass and I was worried they were going to crack the glass soooo no scape has ever survived

Mine would clank the heater against the glass, seemingly to get me in the room to feed them. I had to stop using the heater holder that's on my Seachem Tidal 110 HOB and use a mag clip because of this.

Plants and light driftwood get shoved and relocated to one corner and I can watch the severum move plastic plants around all the time. Because of all this, I basically have no scape in this tank. Just some random plastic plants and a mix of black and natural gravel substrate.

My tank that’s been dominated by kribs and a severum:

The mbuna tank (forgive the mold on the wood):

And my CA/SA tank (everyone is young and hiding):

When I first got my group it was set for many little caves. So each one had it's own hide. 20180924_182131.jpg
After the group sorted itself out and a dominate pair formed I rehomed the extras and rescaped. 20190211_160819.jpg
As he grew the ornaments got sturdier

Now full grown he only has big rocks he can't move. It got to the point where he would just pile up the branches at one end out of his way.

Now as an adult he only has a couple big rocks to give him a hide. 20200602_213156.jpg
Recently had to change the rocks due to his size. 20210131_092900.jpg
