its in the perch family i think, its a leaf fish... did you not read his description, just like the big priddy pictures i guess haha?
 
LOL....great thread idea and I don't have any mini monsters currently but one of all time favorites is the Ctenopoma acutirostre.
 
Ummm you know what i havent looked into the family of leaf fish, but i cant imagine that theres more than like 5 species of leaf fish, or at least that how much i know of leaf fish lol. They get 8 inches and have a very large mouth, and if they wanted to could easily consume a fish their size, it woudnt fit in their tummy though haha.

No its not a bass its a species of leaf fish called nandus nandus or asian leaf fish or gangetic leaf fish, all the same. They do closely resemble bass though i must say.

im really loving that leaf fish, ive just been reading up on them... they have a nice close relative too look below, max out at 5 inch!

only messing mate, they are indonesian i think, they are percifrorms family, means perch like, not sure if perch are actually in that family mins??? uk perch look very bass like too!
 
Yea the nebulous are stunning to even more so than nandus nandus, but once again i cant find any!!!
 
If i ever see some actually online you know im gonna try and beat you to it :P

Okay and you've all probably seen this fish around under some trade name or other.They are mostly known as leopard bush fish and might reach six inches in length.One of the things I like about them is the fact that they are almost always moving around exploring the tank...They eat very small live and dry foods and are not aggressive toward other fish.
