IceH20- that goldfish brings new meaning to MFk, he's awesome!! Lovely tank btw.

Here are some of my goldfish, they live together in a long 125gallon tank. There are 9 goldfish in general ranging from 5-9inches+ long roughly (they are common and comet goldfish), apart from the goldfish there is one 10inch common pleco. The tank has strong filtration and some huge 3ft peices of bogwood for decor, the pics are not that new but here you go anyway :) ;

A pic of the tank when it was first set up- the only thing different about it now from then is the plants are gone (goldfish ate them);

I have a 3200gallon pond i am going to move my goldfish into at some point soon, although i have been holding off moving them into the just yet as there are a lot of tadpoles and small frogs still growing up in the pond which i do not want the goldfish to gorge themselves upon when they go into the pond.

you never had a problem with the pleco sucking on the goldfish?

Nope. I was wary at first about introducing the pleco to the tank at first because i had read up about stuff like that happening, but i ended up doing it because the pleco was bulling my other 2 plecos and i had to separate it so i moved it into the goldfish tank.
I've always kept a close eye on it, but its been living with the goldfish in the tank for 10months now with absolutely no problem whatsoever so all is good :) . I guess the behavior of the pleco when it comes down to stuff like this depends a great deal on the individual personality of the pleco itself- this one hated having to live with other plecos, but has always been fine with other fish like the goldfish which do not share its space on the bottom of the tank :) .

Any more guys?

I have a few goldfish, currently in a 75, I'm planning on building them something bigger in the near future, and the way I have picked each of my fish, is for their face value...lol, I like seeing their pretty faces

I'll have to get individual pics later, but here's one from my last batch before yesterday's.

I hear Gold Fishes tend to die easily?
is it true..

hahahahahahaha...NO!!

If you provide the right food, temperatures, and care, they'll live for YEARS!!
Since I've been keeping goldfish, I've only lost 2, 1 was eaten by my bullhead catfish baby, and the other was blind when I bought him, and his problems just kept going down hill.

I've started adding a touch of blackwater (1/2 strength) and it makes their colors POP!!
