Would any you guys take the time out your day to post your red devil pictures? One of my favorite fish in the hobby. Got this little one from my LFS. I knew he gonna be nasty fish when I got him cause he bite a tiny hole in the bag. Had him for about a month now. He's still about 3".
Also a question what's up these black spots ? The Red devil didn't have them before? And possibility of sexing right now or still too young ?

A bit young to sex , but looks like more feminine.
Black patches come and go as they mature and get their true adult colours. May look totally different when it grows.
Good luck growing it.
But yeah that betta in the corner may not last.
Try keeping it solo and associate with it then you'll get the typical wet pet behavior.

Is the betta a feeder?

Thanks .. and the thing about the betta you guys is my girlfriend asked me what they were and why they were by themselves and I told her because they're aggressive fish. So she bought one put it in the tank and it's been there since in two weeks it will be a month. I observed these guys and I can tell you rn that red devil doesn't mess with the betta. The betta flares at her* and she runs away. But I do know he won't last for long and I'm honestly surprised he lasted this long.

No girlfriend asked me why they are left in containers i told her because they were aggressive. She bought one put it in when I was at work. The betta been in there since the tank was set up about a month ago I'm pretty sure they had their battles but the betta eats and swims around and he actually attacks the devil or flares up at him I should say and the devil swims away. I will post another thread next month cause I'm shocked it's still there and doesn't get bothered.
