Thanks! Shutter speed and lots of light allows me to basically freeze them in their spot. Now keep in mind I would never get the same results with a fish that is doing the mad 6 foot dash across the tank, lol.

yea the good news is that they get along and my 6 ciclids are good in there to at only 2" long tops

Hi bichirfirst,lovely ornate,have you had him from a baby if so how long has he /she taken to get to that size?

Just interested because mine seems to be growing very quickly.

i just got him about week (as a present for my wife)and a half ago but he is 6 years old. i was told that its been about 6months since he has grown much.
