Nice pics everyone. I wish I had better luck keeping these guys. Mine have been killed by other tank mates including thorichthys sp, asterheros sp., herichthys sp., JD, and a syn. I have owned 5 and they have been too placid for a semi-aggressive community tank. I have no idea how they got an aggressive reputation. I've even had smaller HRPs chase larger male salvinis.

Here is a nice female I kept a couple of years back. Ended up doing serious damage to a much larger Gold Saum during the night. They are stealth attackers who are notorious for nipping other tankmate's fins.
