what makes you think it is female? looks totally male to me, just hasnt developed his trailers yet, mine didnt grow pointed fins till he was 3in
 
Here's my best looking green terrors. I bought 2 in October and tried to pick out a male and female. Compared to all the others this one looked the most male out of the rest so I got this one and a female. Now I'm starting to think that it is a female although it is growing much faster than the other female and dominates the female most of the time. It's currently 3.5-4 inches. Any opinions on the sex?

That's a male IMO. Pics like these make me want to keep GTs again :thumbsup:

The Gold Saum IS the true Rivulatus.
Gunther's original type specimen was described as having ORANGE edges to the fins. It is now ANDINOACARA RIVULATUS.



The Silver Saum was the fish originally known as GREEN TERROR. It is now ANDINOACARA STALSBERGI.
