I am also getting into more Cryptoheros and other convict like cichlids. They are Tank Busters in small package that can be kept in pairs with tankmates in tanks smaller than 125g. Some are little Devil that share the same attitude and hump size as their giant cousins.

Those are awesome pictures when I'm home! I have panamensis as well I'll have to see if I have any pics when they are younger since my larger tank has horrible lighting for pictures.

I love how almost each panamensis has a slightly different pattern!

My Paramensis have an attitude, fearless and don't hold back bullying my pair of GT twice their size.

I love the nanoluteus. Small and fiesty. My 20 gallon was originally supposed to be for them specifically but I couldn't find them at the time.

I'm thinking of upgrading to a 120 (4x2 footprint) and doing a Central America biotope with 1 maybe 2 cryptoheros species.

I do love the pictures, keep them coming.
