Holy crap! That is one impressive JD! What do you feed that thing? I want mine to get huge like that. What size tank is he in?

Thanks Wesley! He lives in a 90G with a few other medium-size CA's. As for diet, I feed my Cichlids Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pellets as a staple (no food delivers faster growth IMO). Once a week I drop a frozen bloodworm cube in the tank (he swallows them whole....lol).
 
not a cichlid but my favorite fish by far he is 6 years old (one of my first fish) and 8.5in. and his name is smudge

but my second favorite is my blue JD having his munchies but he sadly passed about 8 months ago :(
