I really haven't noticed any difference in my NTT from my IT's other than him having a cloudy eye for a couple of days and everyone else was fine

i really like the thin bars, but have heard that they die for no known reason. i did think that this happened at a larger size tho.

Yea, people have been calling it sudden death syndrome but I don't know. KRich, you've had this happen?

Yes I have.

SDS..... I reckon there must be a reason for such suddem deaths. .. but how do we go about knowing why it happens.? Unless.we do autopsy ......

I think it could be something as simple as stress...either from transportation. .. or stress generated from water conditions or other tank mates.

When I upgraded to bigger tank... I moved all my filters and pipe work from old tank to new. .. transferred as much old water as possible. Filters were prob off for about about 45 mins. also added seachim stability

On day 3,4 and 5 of the new tank running. I lost about 7 ntts. Between 3 and 7 inch.
All other fish leo. Indos. Archers were all fine.
