Polypterus mokelembembe is my favorite species of bichir, and thankfully they are being imported more regularly than they were few years ago, I know several members here have at least one in their collection.

Please post pics of your mokes so we can get an idea of how they adapt their colors to different tank environments, and also see their natural variation in color and pattern.

Good idea for a thread, I'll have to get a few pictures of my duo later. Might be a little bit tricky though, my tank has quite a few hiding spots so I usually only see them around feeding time.
