If you have any petsmart senegal(s) aka. "Dinosaur Eels" :D what growth rate/size have they gotten to? I know that many people say they do not grow fast or correctly so I am curious.. I got mine about a year ago and he has grown half an inch...

Mine grew from 2" to 8" in about 5 months or so. Was my first bichir thought developed bloat and, passed away never seemed to get pass 8" thou. I had got 2 albino senegals that I had for 1.5 years or so and, maybe grew .5" at that never seemed to eat all the much.

Yeah, my albino senegal has not seemed to grow at all. But mine eats tons... (My albino is not from petsmart...)

Mine weren't either they just ended up food for my delhezi over time
 
I've had my 2 for about a year and they both have gone from about 1.5" to about 5.5" I'll try and get some pics in a couple minutes.

One of mine grew from 2 inches to 6.5 in 11 months and my other grew from 2 inches to 3.5 in 11 months.

Got mine at 3 inches and grew to 7 inches in 3 months. But its been at 7 inches for a couple of months now....

If your senegals are failing to grow you most likely font have a large enough floor space for them to swim along, not chaninging eater often enough, improper feeding
