Thats a nice rod. I walk couple miles when I fish and like light rods which are strong. I rather not carry heavier rod long distance in heat.

Would that rod fall into that category?

Do you mean is my rod easy to carry? It sure is, I am the same way I walk around every lake I fish and hit every nook and cranny. The 6'6" is awesome, it is sturdy for a solid hookset, and I can keep the light line I like. I like to fight the fish I catch not just reel them in with 25lb test, if I go saltwater fishing I just use leader.

The 5'6" pole I would not really recommend, it cast sooo far, I think because the line is so light, it is hard to get a solid hookset especially on a farther cast but catching a 5lb bass on 6 poung line is fishing.

Hope this helped, or hope we are talking about the same question.

Ehhhhhhh c'mon, I know there are more people out there that has pics of their gear.....don't let this thread die already

Yes thats what I meant as you know when you walk miles a lighter rod is the way to go. I was interested in the strength of that rod as lots lighter rods suck.

Which you answered thanks.

Be careful on what you ask for:ROFL:

This would be some but not all. I have a 2 car garage with one side being filled with fishing supplies or dive gear. These are my favorite and most used rods or reels. I have stuff (line, reels, rods, hooks, tackle bags, lures, artificial bait, a ton of Booyaa Fish Clothing, etc.) in the garage that is brand new and havent been used in years.
