Different lights can come in different kelvin colors, and not all can be any color. Normal incandescent bulbs (the 'old fashioned' normal bulb you use in the house) usually has a very low kelvin color (2000K to 3500K or so). Compact fluorescents however can come in almost any color (from the very low kelvin like an incandescent at 2000K, to natural daylight at 6500K, all the way up to 20,000K and actinic).
When Pevine asked about color earlier it sounded like he thought it was an incandescent bulb becaise it was a flood style bulb and I was just specifying that it is a compact fluorescent bulb in a flood lamp bulb.
