It always looks like that. I vented it to sex it which by no means means I'm correct. But I'm fairly positive it's a male.

Your Viejas are looking great, Is that Argentea from the same place as the one you sent me. I picked up 3 more Argentea from Rapps a while back but so far they don't seem to have the color as my larger one, but they are still young. I got an F1 Regani to replace the one that my marm ate for dinner, And my male Zonatus is really starting to develop quite a nuchal. I also picked up an F1 Syns and the Pink Fen.
Are yours all housed seperately?

Yeah, the regani and argentea are from the same stock (Don Conkel) as the two I sent you.
The regani and argentea are housed together (argentea rules the regani), the zonatus and syns are in the same tank, divided. It appears my female zonatus is trying to breed with the syn through the divider. Guess she's been lonely living alone.

I have the opposite going here, I have also got a female syns in my 125 with my male Zonatus and I caught them going at it. I am getting ready to pull her cause I wanted an all male tank to help reduce aggro in my Vieja community with my pikes, That is why I picked up the male Syns.
Im trying to find a used 8 foot tank, at least 240 or 300 to move all of them into when the others grow out some more.

Took the divider out for a few minutes to snap a couple quick shots. Female zonatus is a beast, quickly trying to take over the whole tank.
