This is my 55g convict tank, it separates the dining room and living room. The filter intake and return, thermometer, heater, and mag-float are all on 1 side so that the tank looks good viewed from both front and back

here's a video of my 55 when i was growing out my bass. very simple. if you're not going to divide two rooms like the previous post, i highly recommend painting the back black. be patient as it takes about 8 coats of paint to come out nice and thick. just some input.
