Show quality fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think the type of show makes a difference as well.

Typically, I've heard that show quality fish are the ones (full grown) that mirror a wild (full grown) specimen.

id like to think my female festae is show quality. she represents about the best color a female can get and is a fully grown adult. although my camera skills arent show quality. ive showed her a few times but if anyone has missed her before now you can see why i think she is a show fish.

These where some of the "show" classes at this years (2007) ACA Convention in Atalanta, GA. It is up to the people who put on the show to list what types of fish that are up for awards. I'm sure the judges also use some sort of guideline to determine who the winners are. Sometimes the winner in a class though is the only fish in that class present!
