what is a pushrod???? I think Ima gona love it....lets hear the definition of PUSHROD..

it's a hollow metal stick that transfers the lift from the cam to the valves.

I think it's funny when people say they're "old technology". Sure, they've been around for a while, but so have pistons;)

thank You Levi. People forget that english is not my language and I think I dnever heqard that word..but I gather it is also used in figurative/joking way. Am I right? That is how I read it abovem anyway...

Pushrod motors use one cam shaft located in the block. The pushrods contact the cam lobes and at the other end are lifting the intake and exhaust valves by pushing the rocker arms at the top of the head. It's instead of having the cams located right in the heads making direct contact with the rockers. That set up has it's ups and downs. Pushrods snap under extreme conditions (racing). Let me tell you, replacing a cam in the middle of the motor sucks. But one cam is cheaper than buying four. ;)

I do not like F1. What I sometimes do is w
drive up to Le Mans for the 24 hours ( only racing I like )

I have never driven the Ring..Am not a good enough rapid driver to enjoy it, and also do not want to spend a set of tires per venue....;)

is the Targa your only?
